How much should lessons cost? You’ll find a range of prices when you search for an online English tutor. I believe my tuition fees represent good value for money based on my qualifications, experience and personal commitment to your progress.

I design and develop your course according to your needs and aims. Of course this can include grammar, vocabulary, speaking, listening, reading and writing. However, we can also focus on workplace confidence-building (for example for giving presentations, attending meetings and making phone calls in English) and pronunciation skills. You will have opportunities to give your input into your course planning.

All your lessons with me are ‘live’ rather than recorded. This means you can ask any questions at any point, and I can give extra explanation, examples and practice if you need it at the time. Also, if I see that you have understood a point and are using the language correctly, I can move on to a different language point without wasting your time.

In addition to each full hour lesson, you will have regular homework assignments to help you practise what you studied in class, and to consolidate your learning. I will also provide you with regular Progress Reports on all aspects of your learning – all included in the price of your English tuition!

These prices are fixed until end of 2026.

Some students will need to buy an appropriate Student’s Book, priced at approximately £35.
