One-to-one English tuition
One-to-one English tuition provides personalised lessons, tailored to your specific needs, at a time that fits your busy work schedule. We can focus on any aspect of English to help you make progress with your professional, social or educational goals, including exam preparation. Your one-to-one lessons, designed to fit your unique requirements, will cost £24/hour.
English tuition in small groups
If you would prefer to study in a small group of students (maximum four, all of a similar standard), the following group lessons might be better for you. I will adapt the English course to meet the needs of the students in the group. Examples of group courses are given below. Other courses may become available. Please ask me.
Pre-Intermediate General English Class: A weekly, two-hour class covering reading, writing, listening and speaking. This will develop your vocabulary and grammar to the next level. Includes homework. £30/class (£15/hour).
Advanced General English Tuition: Two-hour sessions of English tuition helping you to develop your vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation and language skills. Includes homework. £30/class (£15/hour). Students must be at C1 level at time of joining. Please contact me for days and times.
IELTS Tuition: Two-hour sessions of English tuition aimed at developing the vocabulary, grammar, technique and skills required for the IELTS Academic exam. Homework is set and assessed. £30.00/class (15/hour). Students must be at a minimum of B1 level at time of joining. Please contact me for days and times.
Intermediate (B1) General English Tuition: A two-hour weekly lesson in which you practise your reading, writing, listening and speaking skills, and study intermediate level grammar and vocabulary. Includes homework. £30/class (£15/hour). Please contact me for days and times.
These prices are current (April 2024.). Students may need to buy a coursebook at about £37.
